Auckland Plumbing Job – Based in St Johns
Our team is based in St Johns, Auckland, servicing:
East Auckland
Central Auckland
South Auckland
Occasionally North Shore and West Auckland
Commercial and industrial sites
Food processing and packing factories
This is a local Auckland role, with structured scheduling and forward planning — not constant after-hours or travel outside the region.
About the Role
This is a senior plumbing and gas fitting position suited to an experienced tradesperson who enjoys responsibility and leadership.
You’ll work across:
residential plumbing and gas fitting
commercial plumbing systems
factory and industrial environments
Alongside hands-on work, the role includes:
managing your own jobs and schedule
liaising directly with clients and site managers
quoting and estimating (software provided)
planning labour and materials ahead of time
supporting apprentices and junior staff
helping lead specific areas of the business
Plumbing & Gas Fitting Work Includes
Residential and commercial gas installations
High end Kitchen and bathroom installations
Gas hot water systems
Boilers and plant rooms
Hot water cylinder replacements
Commercial maintenance and upgrades
Fault finding and compliance work
You’ll enjoy variety — no two days are the same.
Commercial & Factory Plumbing Experience
A large part of our work involves maintenance for commercial packing and food-processing factories, including:
high-demand hot water systems
wash-down systems
process water supply
plant-room installations
shutdown planning and maintenance
working safely within live production environments
Commercial or industrial experience is highly valued, but training and support are available.

What We’re Looking For
Senior plumber and experienced gas fitter
Certifying plumber and gas fitter preferred
Strong residential and commercial experience
Confident dealing directly with clients
Ability to plan ahead and manage workload
Comfortable quoting and estimating
Leadership mindset and team-first attitude
Full NZ driver licence
